Today in Rodbuilding... I was fixing stuff. It is one of my least favorite parts of rodbuilding, but sometimes, stuff gets broken and inevitable they must be fixed. This titanium RV guide lost an insert when my rod tube was opened and inspected at the airport. Luckily, the damage was only limited to hardware and not the blank, so here I am curring off the guide and over wraps. Tomorrow on to re-wrapping the guide and the first of 4-5 coats of finish. In a few days this custom rod will be as good
