Five people were hospitalized after a crash involving an LAFD ambulance in Arleta on Sunday night. Firefighters say the ambulance was transporting an 81-year-old woman and a 94-year-old man when it collided with an SUV at Woodman Avenue and Chase Street. LAPD says the SUV driver made an unsafe turn, leaving him in critical condition. Three others, including the ambulance crew, were also taken to the hospital.
