Nate is living proof that recovery and second chances go hand in hand. After staying in the Gateway Recovery pallet homes, he joined the City’s Better Way Forward program, got a job as a Duke City Ambassador, and is now building a stable life and future for himself. Construction is underway at the Gateway Recovery – Micro-community, a key step in addressing Albuquerque’s need for more recovery housing. With 46 pallet homes (single & couple units) being built, the community will serve up to 50 people, offering behavioral health support, case management, therapy, and workforce opportunities.
