Today’s Court House Session features The Darkling Air, a Bangor duo made up of Rachel McCarthy and Michael Keeney. Michael is a composer/orchestral arranger and music producer. Rachel is an illustrator, photographer and designer. They met some years ago in Donegal when Michael was mixing for Rachel’s previous band, Farriers. The collaboration has resulted in a distinctive sound involving haunting vocals, piano, guitar and strings. For this Session, they perform ‘Beholding You’ and ’Globe Lights’
