#EmergencyHousing Today I asked the Minister of Housing and Urban Development 5 questions centred on what protection mechanisms are in place for our whānau living in emergency and transitional housing. I have seen and heard many horror stories about our whānau experiences in many motels and with different providers and nobody should be subjected to the types of mistreatment and unhealthy environments I have been told about. Somewhere along the line, we have managed to dehumanise our most vulnera
